One of the things that makes AFS special is that it is primarily a volunteer based organization. There is no paid staff in Arkansas. Those of who volunteer with AFS do so because we believe in AFS's mission of bringing the world together and because we get a lot out of associating with special young people from around the world. For these reasons AFS is one of the largest volunteer organizations in the world with over 30,000 active volunteers.

Ellen English, Will Bullard

Chapter Coordinators and Host Family Search Coordinators

Ellen and Will have overall responsibility for the chapter and they are constantly looking for host families. If you or someone you know would like to host they are the people you'll work with. Jane Martin

Chapter Orientation Coordinator

During the many years that Jane has been involved in the chapter she has served in all capacities several times over. She currently is in charge of doing the cross cultural orientations for host families and AFS students.

Sharon Clayton

Host Family Search Coordinator

During her long association with AFS, Sharon has provided leadership at the chapter, state, national and international levels. She currently helps with finding hosting with Will and Ellen.

Debbie Rawn

Sending Coordinator

Like her good friends Jane and Sharon, Debbie has been involved with AFS for years serving at the chapter, state and national levels. She currently is in charge of recruiting Metro high school students to go abroad with AFS.
